On Dec. 3, GW Culture Buffs and their families met at Philly’s Longwood Gardens, where the trees were adorned with gingerbread ornaments and the candy-laden Music Room overflowed with holiday cheer. Brian Sereno, GWSB MS ’04, executive director for GW ‘s athletics communications, shared advice with students and young alumni about his experience in the sports media industry, including his previous role as communications strategist for the Washington Wizards, as part of the “How Do I Become A…?” lecture series on Nov. 10.
The Office of Alumni Relations hosted the Second Annual Multicultural Community Reception, which provided an opportunity for GW’s multicultural community – alumni, students, faculty, and staff – to network and share information about upcoming events and available services.
