We met freshman year in Lafayette Hall. We were neighbors and friends and romance bloomed!
Our #onlyatGW moment was that we had an annual tradition of visiting the National Christmas tree and ice skating in the sculpture garden at the end of finals fall semester. It was a great way to get into the holiday spirit before going home for break.
We both graduated in 2002 and got married in 2007. We now have three kiddos and live in Massachusetts. We love showing our tribe where it all began when we visit Washington.
Our last visit to campus was last October when we were in D.C. without our kids for a wedding. We visited Tom’s law firm’s D.C. office, which is at 21st and Pennsylvania Ave., and enjoyed the view of Lafayette Hall from the roof deck there. It was fun to come full circle!
