Fred L. Brown, SPHHS MBA ’66, has been chosen as one of the latest inductees for The Modern Healthcare Hall of Fame.

The Modern Health Care Hall of Fame recognition program is a joint partnership between Modern Healthcare and the American College of Healthcare Executives, and honors those who have made outstanding contributions to the healthcare industry.

Modern Healthcare writes that “Brown’s career in healthcare administration spans nearly 50 years, including almost two decades of leadership at hospitals and health systems in the St. Louis area. He helped conceive, develop and advance the concept of integrated healthcare delivery, which he put into practice while serving as the founding CEO of BJC Health Care in St. Louis. Brown, 73, also was active in healthcare organizations regionally and nationally, including stints as chairman of the American Hospital Association and the Joint Commission.”
