Erica Roque, GWSB BS ’04, has joined the firm of Halt, Buzas & Powell, a full-service CPA and management consulting firm located in Alexandria, VA. Roque is the manager in the firm’s tax department.
In her role, Roque will specialize in tax compliance for individuals, businesses, exempt organizations, and estates and trusts. She will provide tax research and analysis in complex areas and assist in federal and state tax audits.
In addition to her CPA license, Erica also has a JD from George Mason University, with concentrations in tax and corporate law. She received her BS in accounting from GW’s School of Business.
Roque is currently a member of the AICPA and the VA Bar Association. From 2009 to 2013, she served on the Board of Directors for the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia.
