Vicky Brunt, GWSB BBA ’98 was recognized by The Washington Post as the All Met Girls Soccer Coach of the Year. Brunt, who played soccer at GW from 1993 – 1998, coaches the Patriots at Yorktown High School in Arlington, VA.
According to the Post, Brunt helped the team win its third straight National District title.
“The seventh-year coach [then] led the Patriots to the Northern Region final and a AAA state tournament berth. Orchestrating a balanced attack, Yorktown outscored opponents by nearly 90 goals this season,” the Post reported.
