In addition to a new president and members-at-large, the GW Alumni Association (GWAA) also recently welcomed school representatives to the Board of Directors.
School representatives are appointed by the dean of their GW school, and represent that school or college on the GWAA Board.
There is one representative from each school or college on the board, and each serves a three year term.
These representatives help advance the mission of the GWAA by collecting voices of alumni within their academic home, and serve as ambassadors of the GWAA when attending school events.
Working closely with the dean of their school and their school’s alumni officer, the school representatives serve as an important bridge between the university and the alumni community.
