Two alumni appointed to Philadelphia law practice

Ira Gubernick, GWSB BBA ’86 & Richard Roisman, CCAS BA ’76, have recently joined Cozen O’Connor Corporate Law practice.

Gubernick, formerly a partner at Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg, has joined Cozen O’Connor Corporate Law practice as a partner. Roisman, formerly a partner with McCarter & English, has joined the firm’s real estate practice. Both will be based in the Philadelphia office.

Gubernick is experienced in both the health care and gaming industries. He focuses his practice on private equity, venture capital and other transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and general corporate counseling.

Roisman is experienced in real estate, corporate and commercial financing. His experience spans a wide variety of projects, from multifamily projects to big box shopping centers, and includes acquisition and construction loans, permanent loans, asset-based and subscription lines of credit and commercial loans.
