Brian Kamoie, LAW JD ’96, SPHHS MPH ’97,

Brian Kamoie Class NOteBrian Kamoie, LAW JD ’96, SPHHS MPH ’97, was appointed by President Barack Obama to the position of Assistant Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency for Grant Programs within the Department of Homeland Security.

Prior to this appointment Kamoie had been serving on the White House National Security Staff and before that he worked for the Department of Health and Human Services as a Deputy Assistant Secretary. Kamoie has also worked, among other positions, as a senior policy advisor, a professor of health policy at GW, and as a practicing lawyer.
