Whit Chaiyabhat, SEAS Cert. ’03 & MS ‘06

Whit Chaiyabhat, SEAS Cert. ’03 & MS ‘06, was appointed to be the new Director of Risk Management and Strategic Security at the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation (PECF) this past December. The PECF oversees the Washington National Cathedral, St. Albans School, National Cathedral School and Beauvoir School. Chaiyabhat will be in charge of all aspects of corporate security management for the PECF including the coordination of security for Presidential and Congressional State Funerals. Prior to joining the PECF, Chaiyabhat worked for Georgetown University as the Director of Emergency Management & Business Continuity, for which he was selected as one of the 16 national finalists for the 2012 Campus Safety Magazine “Director of the Year” award.
