The university has hosted a inaugural ball on Inauguration Day since 1993; students, staff, faculty and alumni are welcome to attend. This year’s ball was held on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, near the National Zoo.
