Alum’s kids score pet via Facebook

Last week, ABC News reported on a family outside of Boston, M.A., whose five children earned the right to get a family dog through a Facebook campaign.

Ryan Cordell, CCAS BA ’04, had jokingly told his two oldest daughters that if they created a Facebook page that secured more than 1 million likes, the family would get a dog.

Cordell may have been joking, but his kids were serious.

The sisters created a page on Facebook, Twogirlsandapuppy, and the rest is history.

After researching options last week, the family adopted their newest family member, Millie, from the North Shore Animal League America.

You can follow the family’s journey on their Facebook page, where they’ve been posting updates and photos since bringing Millie home!
