GW Alumni Win in US Elections

In an historic win, Barack Obama was elected to serve as President of the United States of America for a second term last night. Several GW alumni that ran for various offices across the country also secured victories. Eric Cantor, CCAS BA ’85, Tammy Duckworth, ESIA MA ’92, John Duncan, LAW JD ’73, Aaron D. Ford, GSEHD MA ’97, Roger Goodman, LAW JD ’86, Brad Hawkins, GWSB MPA ’01, Steve Israel, CCAS BA ’81, John “JB” McCuskey, CCAS BA ’04, and Colin Van Ostern, ESIA BA ’00 are among successful GW alumni candidates in the recent general elections.
