Jeffry Taylor, ESIA MA ’86

Jeffry Taylor, ESIA MA ’86, passed away May 7 at the age of 51. Taylor spent his early youth in the Pittsburg area before moving to Ohio in the 1973.  He graduated from Dennison University in Granville, Ohio, in 1983 with a BA in Spanish and South American Studies.  At GW he completed a master’s degree in economics with a focus on central and South America in 1986.

Taylor spent most of his adult life living and working in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area. He worked as an economist for several firms functioning as a chief economist for two.  A loving Father, he was active in his two children’s lives, including coaching each in sports. A lifelong outdoor enthusiast he enjoyed camping and was a dedicated Pittsburg sports fan.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Jeffry is survived by his two children Eric and Monica, his former wife Esther, his sister Donna (Spaulding), his brother Stuart, and his father Warren.
