Kun-yen Huang, CCAS Phd ’67

Kun-yen Huang, CCAS Phd ’67, a doctor and former GW professor who later helped found the National Cheng Kung University College of Medicine in Taiwan, died Feb. 20 at the ManorCare nursing facility in Potomac. He was 78.

Beginning in the early 1960s, Dr. Huang studied microbiology at George Washington University and later joined the faculty, specializing in infectious diseases.
