In Philadelphia on March 27, the Honorable Mark Kennedy, director of the Graduate School of Political Management, and Steve Roberts, Shapiro Professor of Media and Public Affairs, discussed politics, media, polling and what to expect in the months to come as the presidential race heats up.

The event was the first in the GW and Politics: On the 2012 Campaign Trail series, hosted by the Office of Alumni Relations. Focusing on the 2012 presidential elections, the series is making its way through cities across the country and features GW alumni and faculty as speakers and panelists.

The Philly event included a networking reception with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails and was co-sponsored by the Philadelphia Alumni Club, Columbian College of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School of Political Management.

Stops are being scheduled in New York, City, Denver, Orange County, Chicago, and Los Angeles – among others – so stay tuned for announcements. You can also check out all alumni events in your area at alumni.gwu.edu/calendar.
