Frank P. DiGiammarino, III, GWSB MPA ’95

Frank P. DiGiammarino, III, GWSB MPA ’95, was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by GW’s Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration.

DiGiammarino is the director of innovation and global expansion for Worldwide Public Sector at Amazon, and he formerly served as advisor to the vice president of the United States for Recovery Implementation. As a recognized change agent, he came to that position from the National Academy of Public Administration, where he was vice president of strategic initiatives.

Prior to the National Academy, DiGiammarino spent many years as a senior consultant and strategist. Former positions include director and Department of Defense Practice Area lead at Touchstone Consulting Group, general manager and director of program management at Sapient Corporation, and principal consultant with the state and local government practice at American Management Systems. He credits GW for his career success.
