Erica Sommers Gero, CCAS BA ’68, died Feb. 1. Gero co-founded SK Advertising L.L.C., a firm that published legal notices in newspapers. She also wrote a column, interviewing chefs, for the Main Line Times newspaper. Gero retired in 2005 after being diagnosed with Leiomyosacroma (LMS), and spent her final years volunteering at Pennsylvania Hospital working with sarcoma physicians to collect tissue for LMS research.
