Arthur Dorman, CCAS AA ’49

Arthur Dorman, CCAS AA ’49, a former house representative and senator, passed away Feb. 17. Dorman was a World War II veteran and an optometrist. He also represented District 21 in Maryland’s General Assembly for 38 years, sponsoring more than 250 bills that became law. He served on the Maryland House of Delegates for 10 years and as a senator for another 28. He was also one of the founding members of the Chesapeake Bay Trust and was on its board for 18 years.
