Charles Nasem, CCAS BS ’80, was named president and CEO of the Louisiana Heart Hospital. Nasem joins the hospital most recently from Deaconess Health System in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Nasem is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Having worked in hospitals for 35 years, he has held positions clinically in catheter labs, critical care and open heart surgery as a registered cardiovascular technologist, operated several departments as a director, and has led high performing teams as a senior hospital administrator. For the past 16 years Nasem has successfully operated hospitals in several states including Florida, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
