Joe D. Haney, GWSB BA ’60

Joe D. Haney, GWSB BA ’60, passed away Nov. 5. He attended GW on a golf scholarship and served as a team captain during his Colonials career. Upon graduation he joined the former Haskins & Sells, in its Washington D.C. national office. In 1966 Joe transferred to the San Diego office and in 1987 transferred to Deloitte Touche in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Haney was a CPA and tax specialist for many prestigious national clients. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anne, four children and eight grandchildren. Among other survivors is twin brother, Bob Haney, also a GW golf alum. Read a full tribute at Legacy.com
