Dionne Calloway, GSEHD CERT ‘10, received grant funding from the Community Education Center of the American Immigration Council. The funding provided flash drives to eighth grade students in her classes with higher numbers of English as a special language and special needs students at White Oak Middle School in Montgomery County, Md. Using the flash drives to compile essays, achievements and assignments, she enabled them to develop academic portfolios for college admissions.
