William G. Valko, GWSB MBA ’66

William G. Valko, GWSB MBA ’66, passed away Oct. 13.  He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1953 and was commissioned a second lieutenant. He flew the B-47 Stratojet for several years during the Cold War, completing several overseas missions, accumulating over 3,000 flying hours and achieving Senior Navigator rating. Upon leaving active duty, he took a position with the R.T. French Company until the early 80s and then transitioned back to federal service in 1983. He worked at the Naval Air Development Center, Warminster, until his retirement 1993. All told, he served his country faithfully and honorably for 40 years. Read a full tribute at PhillyBurbs.com.
