Kathleen K. Bishop, SEAS BS ’79, passed away Sept. 29. She was a mechanical engineer and accompanied her husband, an ambassador, on tours of Niger, Liberia and Somalia. In between her husband’s overseas assignments, Mrs. Bishop worked as a mechanical engineer in the Washington area and designed light tables for a Reston-based firm.
