Marshall Levitan, SEAS BS ’64, MS ’73, passed away Friday, Mar. 7, 2014 with his family by his side.
Levitan was born and raised in Washington, DC and spent the last 31 years in Burke, VA. Beloved husband for 41 years of Lillina; father of Sabrina of Winthrop, MA; and brother of Esther Smith of Silver Spring, MD.
Levitan is remembered as “a remarkable man with a zest for life and a passion to deepen his spiritual understanding, who was always planning his next big adventure with Lillina.”
A proud Eagle Scout, Levitan was philanthropic by nature; he shared his time and resources with numerous organizations around the world.
