Have you heard the buzz about Elana Meyers, SPHHS BS ’06, GWSB MTA ’11, who brought home a bronze medal in the last winter Olympics?

The Sochi-bound bobsledder just claimed two victories at the International Bobsled & Skeleton Federation’s 2013 World Cup in Park City, UT—and she found time to pen an article about the experience for espnW.

Meyers’ first win took place on Friday, Dec. 6. “This was my first World Cup win as a driver,” she writes, “and it was pretty awesome.”

She was back on the course on Saturday. “We won again, and to make it even better, the other two U.S. sleds tied for second, giving us a 1-2-2 podium sweep,” she says in the article.
