As part of Alumni Weekend 2013, the GW Latino Alumni Association (GWLAA) hosted the late-night “Latino Alumni Soiree” at Mio Restaurant in downtown DC.
The GWLAA works with the Office of Alumni Relations to create and grow alumni connections to GW; interact with current Latino students as mentors and role models; identify and nominate Latino alumni for the GW Alumni Association’s annual recognition awards; provide networking opportunities for Latino alumni; and provide philanthropic support to GW.
At the annual Latino Alumni Soiree, alumni of all ages were able to catch up, meet new people and network during an evening of cocktails, food and dancing.
