Reetuparna (Reena) Dutta, LAW JD ’08, has been named to Lawyers of Color’s inaugural Hot List. Dutta is one of 100 early- to mid-career minority attorneys from the U.S. Eastern Region selected for the list.
Hot List honorees were chosen through a two-pronged process with a selection committee. The committee researched bar publications and legal blogs to identify promising candidates, and accepted nominations from mentors, peers, and colleagues.
The honorees will be profiled in Lawyers of Color’s July issue, and a reception was held in their honor in New York City.
Dutta currently serves as an associate in Hodgson Russ’s Business Litigation Practice Group, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of white-collar criminal defense and the False Claims Act.
Dutta has acted at the primary liaison with the U.S. Attorney’s Office on behalf of relators in False Claims Act matters, and has represented clients in two federal court trials. She has also written articles and lectured in her practice areas.
