GWSB Alumna Selected for 2013 Filipino American Youth Leadership Program

maria_queridoMaria Bea Querido, GWSB BBA ‘08 & MTA ’08, has been selected for the 2013 Filipino American Youth Leadership Program (FYLPro) by the The Philippine Embassay in Washington, DC. Querido is part of the second batch of ten young Filipino- Americans in the United States and Guam selected for the program. The immersive program will take place in Manila from July 7 – 11. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with top officials and policymakers, leaders of industry, legislators, media, artists and cultural experts, entrepreneurs and innovators in different fields.

Querido lives in Seattle, WA, and is a program management and supply chain lead at the Boeing Company. She was employed in Lockheed Martin as a finance and accounting analyst, served as vice president of the Filipino Young Professionals in Washington, DC, and interned at the White House and California State Senator Betty Karnette. She is a graduate of both GW and the Advanced Project Management Program at Stanford University.
