Dr. Kenneth Halla, CCAS PhD ’09

Dr. Kenneth Halla, CCAS PHD ’09, has gathered a significant national, online following in a series of blogs he authors related to government and U.S. history. Halla’s blogs have reached around 50,000 hits per month and have become popular resources for integrating new technologies into teaching techniques. Halla himself is a teacher of world history, Advanced Placement U.S. Government, and AP Comparative Government at Hayfield Secondary School in Fairfax County Virginia. Halla has generated 4,100 posts in the past five years and he hopes to soon be able to host courses on technology in the classroom from his blog that will reach teachers all around the country.
