Mariya Bouraima, GWSB BBA ‘06, launched her own boutique communications agency, Aveya Creative, in early 2013. Aveya Creative provides custom communications for small businesses, including brand strategy, logo design, copywriting and social media management.
After working locally and internationally in marketing and communications roles for corporate, government and higher education organizations, including the U.S. Department of State and the Ritz-Carlton, Bouraima realized she had a passion for working with small businesses. She is currently working with several clients, including a woman-owned social enterprise that produces and sells fair trade Shea butter skincare.
Bouraima also remains connected to the GW community, and looks forward to sharing her experiences with current GW students as a career advisor.
