Patel, along with his family and fellow residents of Little Ferry, NJ, created a Thanksgiving food delivery service for members of their community who were impacted by Superstorm Sandy last fall.
The result was the Meadlowlands Basket Brigade, a project that quickly gained momentum and continues to grow.
The Brigade delivered 350+ Thanksgiving baskets to families in the Little Ferry area—and that was just the beginning.
