The GW Alumni Association’s (GWAA) Nominations Committee is now accepting nominations for at-large members of the GWAA Board of Directors, as well as Secretary and Vice President for Financial Affairs & Treasurer of the association.
Members of the Board of Directors help develop strategy for the association, guide programming decisions and gain insight into the university’s alumni relations and development programming.
Board members are expected to attend three regular meetings and one retreat each academic year. At-large members serve for a term of three years, starting in June 2013.
The GWAA is seeking alumni of all backgrounds, class years, regions, school affiliations and interests to share their perspective on the Board of Directors. To learn more about service on the GWAA board, or to submit an application, please visit the nominations website.
All nominations must be received no later than February 28, 2013.
The Nominations Committee will review applications and conduct interviews in the following weeks, and those nominated to serve will be invited to attend the GWAA Annual Meeting on June 6, 2013.
