Alumna documents DC food scene

Our friends at George Washington Today recently caught up with Emily Pearl Goodstein, CCAS BA ’05, whose photography is featured in the recently released cookbook, “Washington, DC Chef’s Table.”

A native Washingtonian, Goodstein spent months in and around the District documenting culinary delights, ranging from five-star cuisine to diner food. Her friend, Beth Kanter, is the book’s author.

The best dish from the culinary tour? “That is a very difficult question as everything was divine,” Goodstein admits. “But I have to say the pudding at Ris was one of my very favorites.”

Head over to GW Today to get the scoop on the book, as well as Goodstein’s photography tricks and foodie tips!
