Alumni gather at Third Annual Multicultural Community Reception

On Nov. 7, the Office of Alumni Relations hosted its Third Annual Multicultural Community reception. This event brings together GW’s multicultural alumni, students, faculty and staff for an evening of networking and information sharing.

This year’s program featured remarks from Dr. Liliana Garces, assistant professor at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development and remarks from alumna trustee Titilola Williams-Davies, GWSB ’07 & ’09.

New this year was a career networking hour; all attendees had the opportunity to network with representatives from major employers—including the State Department, the CIA, and the World Bank—who are interested in strengthening their connections with the GW community.
