Stan Rifkin, GSEHD PhD ’05, accepted a position as technical director at Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC), located at the Stevens Institute of Technology. Rifkin was previously employed at the US Air Force as a program manager. SERC is a US Department of Defense university affiliated research center; the first at the level of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, with over 20 collaborating universities. Rifkin oversees the connection between DoD science and technology needs and their collaborators’ research.
