Oscar M. Wells, GWSB MS ’67

Oscar M. Wells, GWSB MS ’67, a former a mathematician and scientific adviser in the Army Department, died on March 22 at age 84.

Wells was born in Huntington, W.Va., and joined the Army Department in the early 1950s. He went on to serve on the presidential commission to reorganize the armed forces during the Carter administration. In retirement, Wells sold religious texts to churches in the D.C. area.
