Joe Wassel, CCAS BA ’85, and his wife Christine, of North Wales, Pa., are proud parents of five daughters. The eldest Shea Wassel is already following in her father’s footsteps on the college basketball hardwood. She is a 6-foot freshman forward at Gwynedd-Mercy College in Pa., and her team took a 20-7 record into its NCAA Division III tournament game March 2. Shea has averaged nearly eight points and 5.5 rebounds for the Griffins this season. Her father played for the Colonials from 1981-85.
