Yong Tang, ESIA MS ’08, is working as an assistant professor of journalism and mass media law at Western Illinois University. His major area of research is mass media law. He presented the paper Flying Dragon Seeking Freedom of Information: A Critique of Chinese Open Government Information Regulations at the AEJMC 2011 annual conference in St. Louis in August 2011. The paper won “Best Research Scholar-to-Scholar Presentation” prize for AEJMC Communications Law and Policy division.
