John R. Deni, CCAS PhD ’05

John R. Deni, CCAS PhD ’05, accepted a position at the Strategic Studies Institute in Carlisle, Pa., as a research professor of national security studies. Prior, he employed at U.S. Army Europe as a political advisor and legislative affairs advisor.  He writes:

“After 10 years in Germany, eight of them spent working as an advisor to senior U.S. military leaders there, my family and I returned to the states in November. We’ve relocated to Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where I’ve taken up a position as a Research Professor of Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, Multinational (JIIM) Security Studies at the SSI. The SSI’s mission is to conduct national security and strategic research and analysis to influence policy debate and bridge the gap between the military and academia, and I’m excited to be part of their team.”
